Park 55 is a very large, exceptionally well located hotel; the rooms are large and comfortable and generally the staff are attentive. The reception is on the second floor which is a little unintuitive when you arrive and the price is a little expensive. We had booked a 'vista' room and assumed this would be vistas of the bridges but was actually a view of the other side so if you book stipulate which view you would like! Rooms higher up (20 and above) are very quiet.

Right on Union Square (3 minute walk) - which means great for shopping.
30 second walk from the F train - 20 minute ride to the Fisherman Wharf and Pier 39 and the cruise to Alcatraz.
Many Many Many restaurants around, close to China town (15 minute walk).
We spent 4 days as a young couple,
The hotel is comfortable and affordable through Agoda, very recommended!!

The hotel is centrally located. Get out of the hotel and it's only about 3 minutes walk to the cable car termial and market street where you can do the shopping. The hotel staff were friendly. They will greet you when meeting in the corridor. Everying about the hotel itself was good, however my 1st-day neighbour were a group of young people and they were extremly noisy at night. Some of them got drunk.
