reasonable price. small room.
muffins for the breakfast are too soft. This hotel served me very well because I traveled alone and spent most of the time out of the hotel. The room is small, but is very clean. I also liked the decorations and amenities, which are in a modern theme, i.e. IKEA-like as many others say. The staffs at the front desk were also nice.

New and clean bathroom.
Convenient location.
we found the room really small. There was hardly any space to walk in the room after opening the luggage. The bathroom was quite a decent size and seemed newly refurbished and was very clean. The power kept tripping though. The location just a 2 min walk to union square and macy's, which was convenient for shopping and also meeting point for bus sightseeing tours.

Directions from Golden Gate Bridge : Exit US 101 at Lombard Street. Turn right on Van Ness Ave. Turn Left on O’Farrell Street. Turn Left onto Powell Street. Hotel Stratford on the Square is located on the right side at the corner of Powell and Geary, just off union Square.
Directions from Bay Bridge : Take the 5th Street exit on the left toward US-101 N / Golden Gate Bridge. Turn slight right onto 5th Street North. Turn right onto O’Farrell Street. Turn left onto Powell Street. Hotel Stratford on the Square is located on the right side at the corner of Powell and Geary, just off Union Square.
Directions from SFO : Take the US-101 N/I-380 W ramp towards I-280/San Francisco/San Bruno, keep left at the fork in the ramp. Merge onto I-80 East. Bear right onto Bryant Street. Turn left onto 3rd Street, turn left on Powell Street.
