Room Price, Parking rates and convenience, nice staff.
Construction going on with some noise and mess. Low room rates and reasonable on site parking will draw me back to the Travel Lodge on Market at Valencia. It was well located for accessing public transportation and walking distance to the Civic Center, Castro, Valencia and Mission Districts.
The rooms were clean and housekeeping staff were friendly and helpful. Continental Breakfast was available and restaurants in the immediate area served exceptional food.
I slept well. There was remodeling taking place during my stay, but I have no complaints about noise or inconvenience.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Don't overlook the Castro and Mission districts when you visit San Francisco.

Sheets for drapes, needle deposit box mounted in bathroom!!!
Could not get out of ther fast enough!!!!!!!

Their key machine was broken so they had a teen age girl walking around to open your room for you to get in!!!
Thank God I did not arrive with my wife or daughter.
