Centrally located, clean, freshly painted, reasonably priced. Comfortable room.

none during my stay

I was quite pleasantly surprised to find a hotel of this quality for the price. The property had recently been updated and was clean and comfortable. The location was perfect for my needs. The room was spacious and nicely appointed. I was particularly impressed by the nonsmoking floors. There was no smoke odor in the hotel. I also appreciated the easy access from the street and the efficient elevators.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : It is a four block walk to the Space Needle.

Very friendly, curtious and helpful staff. Nice lounge/seating area with use of computer and internet. Own parking at hotel [for a small fee] Well placed for most attractions, most in walking distance. Will post mail for you.

Area around lifts in parking garage a bit scruffy and cigarette bin overflowing and smelly. My room was very small but ok for myself for one night.

I found the staff very helpful and curtious. The hotel is well placed with lots of top attractions just a short ride away. There is good shopping and many bars and restaurants are within walking distance. Pikes Place Market is about 5 blocks away and I felt safe walking there on my own even at night. I think The Ramada Downtown is a good choice for money.

Restaurant Tip : Try the little seafood eateries like Joe's fish and chips opposite Pikes Market. I't doesn't look much but the fish, prawns or scallops and chips are great!

Close to downtown, friendly staff, free wi-fi, free room safe (you have to ask them to waive off the charges), good view of space needle from some rooms

Seems to be an old property with fixtures needing maintenance

I was on a business visit for two nights. I was given a room on the 5th floor which is the top floor. It was a decent room except for the broken plug points. Had a wonderful view of the space needle from my window. The heater wasn't all that new but effective. TV, Coffee maker and personal safe help. Decent toiletries. Inhouse restaurant serves decent vegetarian food but very limited choices.

Shopping Tip : Good place to stay for shopping in downtown.

Location; front desk staff.

The rooms were quite loud. We faced the street and it sounded like every busy was coming right through our room. Also I wonder how well they really clean the rooms as I noticed the same piece of paper on our bathroom floor our entire visit. If they were sweeping or mopping at all, it would have been gone.

The location was convenient, the staff was very friendly and helpful and the rooms were comfortable. They could stand to invest in some noise-reducing windows though as the loud sound of traffic wizzing by my room made it very difficult to sleep. And a second computer for accessing the Internet would have been nice.

Hotel Feature Tip : The hotel's restaurant served a very good breakfast. Also it's near (not even two blocks away) from the Downtowner Airport shuttle stop at the Warwick Hotel.

Clean, location, and the price.

No ice-machine on the second floor.

Room was very clean, reasonable location, 10min walk to Pike Place Market and the Space Needle. Staff were helpful. Good for the price. Saw the other reviews and was a little worried but this place is fine!

Price, locations, friendly staff.

Road noise, a little dirty.

The Ramada was a great rate and within walking distance of the waterfront. The fitness center was small but clean and the front desk staff was friendly. However, my room explained why the rates were so cheap. When I walked in, the room smelled very humid and musty, though the a/c unit was able to take care of that. There was a large wet spot in the carpet on one side of the bed and the room wasn't well-lit. The shower had mildew around the soap holder and the floor and mat inside were stained dark brown from use. The shower head was positioned for use by a 5'0" person, and since I'm 6'0", it was a very unpleasant experience trying to shower. I also woke up several times to cars driving by on the street below.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Within walking distance of Pikes Place Market and several Starbucks.

Close to downtown and Pike Place Market. Easy walking distance from downtown mall and lots of restaurants nearby.

Hotel was not super clean.

We were quite surprised at how removed the hotel was yet so close to downtown. The area was nice and quiet for being in a big city. The rooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was affordable and tasty. I would not recommend walking alone at night as it is very dark in that neighborhood. We never did feel unsafe but there is very little traffic at night and streets were not well lit.

Location ... it was right in the heart of where you want to be, a few blocks from the Needle, a few blocks from Pike's Market and all the shopping around it. Staff was friendly and helpful.

The shower pressure and consistency of water temperature left something to be desired, hot, cold, hot, cold. Also there was a musty smell on the 5th floor when you exited the elevator. Room was clean, but the construction jack hammers on the road sucked. That is temporary I am sure, though lasted my entire 4 night stay.

Overall I think for the price, the hotel was fair. The location is good, a few blocks from a ton of different attractions and restaurants. The room was clean, the bed was adequate, the AC worked. But the shower was small and the water pressure would go from hot to warm to boiling hot without you touching the knobs. The windows are thin so you hear everything outside, which being next to the monorail and having construction on the roads outside became a bit annoying. Overall, I might come back if I could not find a comparably priced hotel in the same area.
