location to downtown, belltown, capitol hill, friendly staff
dirty rooms, rundown appearance, poor overall condition
Upon arriving at the hotel, I could see that I was staying in the rundown hotel in the area. the staff was very friendly and helpful. the room on the second floor was a good size, but the tub was very old and dirty in appearance, the light was broken, the linens were very old. Overall, I did not like the hotel and stayed with friends the majority of the stay and then grabbed a new hotel room -- best decision. It cost more but was worth every dollar.
Restaurant Tip : If you want to stay in this area on aurora near denny ave then you will enjoy the fact that you could walk a few blocks and get some great coffee and donuts at TOP POT, located under the monorail tracks on fifth ave.
