Helpful staff, good location (near Whitehouse), nice interior
The hotel is located in the center of Washington DC, within walking distance to the Whitehouse, very convenient for tourists. The staff has been very helpful in helping us exploring the surrounding areas. The interior is also very nice, with a small kitchen, dining accessories, high speed internet access etc. In conclusion, a good hotel to stay from our view (tourists).

From Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD)
Take 66 east toward Washington (Approximately 28 miles). Keep following until you reach the Theodore Roosevelt Bridge. Cross over the bridge, this road will turn into Constitutions Avenue. Follow Constitution Avenue until it is possible to turn left onto 18th Street. Follow 18th Street to N Street (after 18th and Connecticut intersect). Take a right onto N Street and follow two blocks until reaching Bataan Street. At this point you will be directly behind the Beacon Hotel & Corporate Quarters. Take a right onto Bataan Street and another immediate right into the driveway of The Governor's House Hotel.
From Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA)
Take Exit Airport onto George Washington Parkway and follow to 14th Street Bridge exit. Take exit and follow 14th Street Bridge. Cross bridge and follow 14th Street to Thomas Circle (Approximately 1 mile). Follow circle 3/4 of the way around until it is possible to exit onto Massachusetts Avenue. Stay on Massachusetts Avenue until reaching Scott Circle. Follow Scott Circle 3/4 of the way around until it is possible to exit onto Rhode Island Avenue. From Baltimore Washington International Airport (BWI)
Take 95 South to the Baltimore-Washington Parkway toward Washington. Stay on the Parkway and follow until it is possible to exit onto New York Avenue (Approximately 45 miles from BWI). Follow New York Avenue right; follow Massachusetts Avenue under the Thomas Circle underpass. Stay on Massachusetts Avenue until reaching Scott Circle. Follow Scott Circle 3/4 of the way around until it is possible to exit onto Rhode Island Avenue. The Beacon Hotel & Corporate Quarters is to the immediate right at 17th and Rhode Island Avenue.
