Clean and Comfortable. Hotel staffs are friendly and helpful. Good view of Capitol and Washington monument from hotel room.

Location is not good if you do not have a car. Metro station is quite a walk from the hotel. The place looks deserted and unsafe.

The capitol skyline hotel is a good option for budget travellers and specially if you have a car. It is just a few miles from the Smithsonian and hence good for people with Car. For others the metro station is quite a walk from hotel and the place feels deserted and unsafe.The hotel is good and clean. Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful.

price is the best. close to all historical sites. free shuttle drop-off to most historical sites. service and environment are good.

only a MacDonald's around, hard to buy food outside.

before I went to the hotel, I read several reviews saying the environment is not safe and smoke smell on the hallway. Both of them I did not experience at all. On the contrary, I was very pleased to be there and enjoy the stay. It was safe and close to all sight seeings. As a bonus, they have free shuttle to all sites in the morning and at nights. The restaurant inside the hotel was OK since it was hard to buy food outside the hotel (only MacDonald's across the street).

Free shuttle to many of the tourist spots in town.

Room was very dated, bathroom had a tub that has seen better days. Antiquated a/c system made the temperature uncomfortable.

I was very disappointed with my stay there. I was arriving late so I called to confirm a late arrival. I got there and they told me there were no rooms available and they would pay for me to stay at the Courtyard and for a taxi over. When I finally got to check in the next evening, the room was very dated, bathroom and tub was less than appealing. The diner on the premises served questionable food and the service was slow. All in all, it was not impressive for the money spent.
