Best Western Capitol Skyline Hotel, Washington D.C.

I was very disappointed with my stay there. I was arriving late so I called to confirm a late arrival. I got there and they told me there were no rooms available and they would pay for me to stay at the Courtyard and for a taxi over. When I finally got to check in the next evening, the room was very dated, bathroom and tub was less than appealing. The diner on the premises served questionable food and the service was slow. All in all, it was not impressive for the money spent.

before I went to the hotel, I read several reviews saying the environment is not safe and smoke smell on the hallway. Both of them I did not experience at all. On the contrary, I was very pleased to be there and enjoy the stay. It was safe and close to all sight seeings. As a bonus, they have free shuttle to all sites in the morning and at nights. The restaurant inside the hotel was OK since it was hard to buy food outside the hotel (only MacDonald's across the street).
