great lobby, good food, soft sheets

we were given the smallest room in the worst location-probably because we made the reservation through a discounter. we asked to change rooms and were given a slightly larger one with a more modern bathroom.

The Mayflower is a fabulous old hotel located in a great area. Lately great shopping and state of the art restaurants have popped up nearby. During the week one can see many politicians as the hotel is known not only to Elliot Spitzer, but popular for meetings and conferences. The first time we stayed at the hotel we had a first class experience. Most recently the 3 of us were given a room that had little wiggle room after the rollaway was installed. All in all though I highly recommend this hotel
