Tranquility of hotel as well as friendliness and helpfulness of staff The tranquilty of the hotel after a long time in the air was exactly the kind of stress releaser that we were wanting. From the street to the room was a pleasurable experience, with no check in hassles or having to deal with baggage, of which we had a bit.The rooms were tastefully furnished and the beds were comfortable to ease the travails of a long days travel. My wife also found nothing wanting from a discerning womans perspective. I also found an enormous degree of tranquility in the lobby lounge and was almost a sanctuary from the hustle and bustle of the streets outside. The breakfast table was outstanding as well as lunch taken in the lobby. The staff are to be commended for their attention to detail and making our stay more than worthy of coming back on our next trip to DC.

Room, clean, reception, restaurant a lower price for the garage I spent three nights at the Sofitel Washington hotel in two different moments of my vacation. I slept in two different rooms and both were clean and in line with the Sofitel standard that I know. The food quality was excellent and all the staff was friendly and tried to solve any of my problems.

It is close to the White House and location wise, it is very nice.
