Hotel is so close to the Union Station, and just at the foot of Capitol Hill. All National Hall attractions are within walking distance.
There's welcome drink in the lobby which is nice and cool.
The room is modern and luxury, with high standard, business class style. Very comfortable to rest and relax.
Restaurant Tip:
There's a Starbucks just at the corner of street, and another liquor store with hamburgers offering right beside the fire department.

Value hotel with great location- 10 min to Capitol

I spent my two nights in D.C. with my friends.
Even though, the trip was very tired due to long distance walking, Liaison made us comfy and re-energized.
Hotel was really impressed. Room was great and full facilities given. Fitness center is provided at the top of the hotel.
Howver, breakfast we have to pay separately (quite expensive) and free wifi was only provided in the lobby. 12$ rate for room wifi per account.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Very close to the Capitol and Smithsonians.

right behind capitol hill, in front of this, hyatte hotel. so,
guess what, many delegation people. high standard and nice atmospher. elegant room with business touch.
great.

china town. small one in washington. lousy food. do not go there.

Great funky, boutique hotel in a great location
Location close to union station and subway, great rooms and great staff

Walking distance from Union station, this gem of a hotel is one of the best value choices in DC. Rooms were a good size with very comfy beds. Recently refurbished, it looks and feels good. However, pool was very crowded with lots of kids!
Restaurant Tip:
Great seafood at Johnny's Half-Shell especially the soft shell crab, just around the corner from the hotel.

It's a very lovely place to stay in DC. It is close to everything a tourist would like to know in the Capital. The hotel room is big enough and very clean and tidy. Strongly recommend.

Good stay. Very polite check in . Location is great. Walking distaance from Capitol Hill as well as from Union squaare station fom where all the Hop on HOP Off tours start. One of the tours we wwere on had a stop right there. There is a restauraant and bar in the hotel itslf apart frpm options close by. Rooms are in good condition, though not large , the size is adequate for 2 people.

Really good for sightseeing due to loaction

Ideal location
very friendly staff, good restaurant, clean and bright.

a very pleasant 4 nights.
the location is ideal for tourists.
parking is an expense to be considered but as we were able to walk everywhere it was good to know that the car was secure and under cover.
no fridge in the room was a concern but with ample ice available and a good size ice bucket it was not a problem.
the area was safe and the room although above the street was quiet. the curtains were great and it was easy to sleep.
good airconditioning, large tv and good tv reception.
good wifi.
no complaints, a very pleasant stay.

Great introduction to Washington DC

We stayed at the Liaison after a good reference from a friend. Even from the start, the service was impeccable. Rooms are very clean and I must find out where they get their pillows from.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Try the restaurant downstairs. Best. Fried Chicken. Ever.
