Really friendly helpful staff
We really enjoyed our stay at Novie's and could not fault the staff at all, everyone is really friendly and helpful and i'd definitely return again! It's a great location and not far on a tricycle from the main part of El Nido and quite a nice walk there too.

Average, nothing special
Not good restaurant, Aircon powercuts, no free water! only 1,5l for 100 pesos. But in close shop you have for 40. Food dissapointing. Once is cold, then its full of bones (chicken on the stick), then you pay for the breakfast omellete and they want to pay you twice. I just dont givit to them

not so clean, poor location
The location is poor, if you want to stay because it's close to corong corong beach, don't bother because the beach is nothing special. The wifi is very poor but as expected as it isn't great anywhere in El Nido. The staff were accommodating. The electricity supply they have there is poor. The air con and fan cuts out every 20 seconds for a period of time. the room was never any cooler than outside I found. It was not just this room it was others too as we had friends staying there also. I would suggest staying closer to the town, and check the air con/fan before you stay, nothing worse than a miserable nights sleep before doing the island hopping tour. Also, don't book any tours or anything here, it's much cheaper to book in town. It's 30peso tricycle (2 people) into town, not the 50peso all drivers say is the "regular rate"

Budget Friendly
The place is located at Corong-Corong which is a plus if you're not into crowded place as the downtown. A bit far, but you can take the trikes around 15 Pesos in the morning and 50 Pesos for the whole trike starting sunset onwards or rent motorbikes for 500-600 Pesos for 1 day. The place is clean enough, staff was accommodating, they have their own mini restaurant for you to grab food. The Wi-Fi is only available at common area and hardly connected to the internet. But, you're here for the nature of course it's a good place to stay.

Great Place
The staff was super helpful, the rooms were clean, breakfast was tasty really close to the beach. My only complaint was it was 50 pesos to the main beach, which is where you wNt to be.

Stay away from this, people.
El Nido was amazing, the lagoons, secret beaches, food.. it was paradise and I cant wait to go back. The hotel we stayed at was the single most horrible lodging we experienced. Firstly, it was far from everything, you always had to hail a tricycle which wasnt cheap. No beach front and far from where the island tours start. Breakfast was not included- so you will be forced to eat at their restaurant every morning, they had very limited items and none were good, also expensive. Wifi only available at lobby, even then, Wifi was extremely slow. We were advised that no electricity between 10am-5pm, thats acceptable considering the island had limited supply of power, but then our fan and airconditioning had problems working during the whole duration of our stay. Most times, we did not had airconditioning until late at night. Too much noise can be heard especially during night time. The property is located next to the main road so motor vehicles can be heard 24/7. Just plain horrible, you are better off spending additional 100-200$ to some other property. We stayed a total of 5nights and not a single time was our room cleaned or sheets changed. We had to ask for a new trash bag ourselves- its generally not allowed to throw tissue paper into toilet bowls so this sucks. On the plus side, free coffee.
