What a great little place!
Spent a week here for Nepali New Years. Couldn't have picked a better place. Location was perfect. Nice family run home stay. They really make you feel at home. Thank You. Rooms are basic in a traditional home (low ceilings). Bathrooms are very clean with good hot water. Wifi was typical. Can't wait to come back again.

Lovely place above their shop
The rooms are basic to Nepali standards but the staff is very helpful. I really liked the shop they own and of course as a guest you get special discounts on their handmade wooden sculptures.

Welcoming and cheap
Great lokation, very close to the pottery square. Clean bedrooms and toilet/bath. Also it is the cheapest guesthouse we could find.
Our host took such good care of us, with free breakfast. She cooked our breakfast while telling her story about her, and her families guesthouse. She gave us travel advice for our further journey in Nepal. All and all a great place.

location and friendly staff
I had a nice stay. Very rustic and located right in the heart of Baktapur. The town is recovering nicely after the earthquakes, but still has a ways to go.

Value for money
Nice shop, comfortable rooms.
The rooms are located above the shop which sells wood cravings. A nice place to stay but not forgetting that there is nothing to do after night fall and everywhere is pitched black (without street lights) so do remember to bring a torch light. Electricity supply is the same throughout the entire Nepal and during times there are no supply of electricity but they have basic lights on generator. Very basic room with common bathroom. Bathroom is decently clean but do not expect too much from a family run accommodation. I didn't try the food there so can't comment too much. But it did make me laugh when I saw "Bear" and "Cock" on the drinks menu.

Great Hospitality, Great Food, Great Location
Hospitality, Food, Cleanliness
I stayed for a couple of nights in December 2014, and it was one of the best accommodations I've stayed in Nepal. Very cozy atmosphere, great hospitality and very conveniently located in Pottery Square inside Bhaktapur city, so it is very peaceful. The place is run by a family with a woodwork shop in the first floor, and they are extremely friendly. Rooms are very comfortable, the bathrooms are clean, and they have hot water and solar electricity when the city is without electricity. The food is one of the best I've had in Nepal, especially the Dhal Bhat. I would definitely stay again if I were back in Bhaktapur.

Perfect location, great people
location, hospitality, clean
At first I reserved one night stay, and checked out in the morning. Then decided to stay another night. So I called Manika, and she said "of course, come home". To me this is more than being polite... That is a true hospitality. Rooms are spacious and clean. Location within a minute walk from all main attractions! Shared bathrooms are clean with hot water even when the power is off because of solar system. All in all, good value for money, great people and great location.

One of the best Guest Houses we stayed in Nepal
Staff, Breakfast, Big rooms
It was just perfect, best breakfast we've had in Nepal, and the family who owns the place is very kind and told us about Nepal's culture. Definitely recommended!

Comfortable and peacefull Guest House
1. best thing about this guest house is its hostess. she is very kind, helpfull and always smiling. so is her husband for that matter. 2. the rooms are comfortable and quiet. 3. the rooftop terrace
Our stay was very nice. We stayed 6 days but 3 would have been enough. There is enough to see but 6 days is too much. The days we spent at the guesthouse where very nice. Enjoying the town, its surroundings or just enjoy the sun on the roof of our guesthouse. We really enjoyed breakfast every morning. Made by the hostess herself. Very nice! We definitely would recommend this guesthouse and we would probably come back if we would visit Nepal again!
