Peaceful retreat
Lovely staff, beautiful room and very peaceful location
We had a very relaxing stay. Being slightly out of Chiang Mai I would recommend using the free hotel shuttle to the city at 10.30 am and back at 6.30pm. If you need to return later go to the Baan Oasis hotel in the city (part of the same group) and they will book you a taxi back.

Nice place off the beaten path
This seams to be a converted Thai house within a housing development, pool is the community pool a small walk from the property. Taxi needed to go out
This is a nice quiet alternative to a hotel. Very well kept but staff not as friendly as they could be. Morning kitchen staff very accomodating but no ice. Orange juice not available but only small items. Having no on site restaurant and being away from town makes advance planning a must. Needed an extra bed fir my 11 year old and property wanted $100 extra fir the 3 nights. At a property charging 150 per night you would think this would be an accomodation Also upon checking in they explained that we wiuld have to move rooms the next day. I just said no and that seem to solve the problem. Aircon not working first night but repaired next day Property insisting on a kickback from car service inflates price over outside services. Again you would think having a reliable car service for your guests would be enough. Earning a commission Very narrow minded at this price point in low season Hottest month of the year and they leave lobby doirs open with no aircon running and mosquitos coming in Plenty of full service hotels to stay at fir 59-100 per night so at 150 you expect more

A flawed experience
Decor, Quiet location, Room size
This is an exquisitely designed hotel. Decor is beautiful. However, we booked two rooms, one for ourselves and the other for a friend. The friend's room (room no. 4) smelled of sewage on the first morning of our stay. The hotel compensated our friend with a room upgrade, but the fault in the room is inexcusable.

Beauty is in the details!
Staff, Room, Breakfast
We decided to stay here for 3 nights in the pool corner suite because of the good reviews from previous visitors. That was the best decision. The hotel is very beautiful, decorated with northern Thai arts and the whole place is scented with fresh flowers and aromatic plants. I love floated flower decoration in various places in the hotel. This is the kind of details that makes the place special, even though it is a fair bit of work comparing to simply putting cut flowers in a vase. The room itself was very spacious, clean, comfortable and very charming. Homely too at the same time. We stayed in the pool corner suite with nice view of serene pool amidst trees but the water was too cold to swim in. Bathroom was fantastic, huge, great water pressure and beautifully hot! Being high maintenance, I don't usually use shampoo/soap from hotel rooms but this hotel is an exception, I absolutely loved their shampoo, soap and hand cream. It helps that they also have spa business and care about their guests' wellbeing. The mosquitos in the bathroom botherd me a little that might be because we left door open to let enjoy fresh air and didn't use fly screen. The breakfast was made fresh from the order we put in the first night. Breakfast menu was good range and of high quality, served in the cosy breakfast room. The best thing in this hotel is staff. Being a small resort they recognised guests by name, face and room number from the first day we stay. Each time I asked for help, I got what I wanted and met with such spirit of hospitality. They always have time for us. I also loved the fact that they have beautiful northern Thai uniform. We brought in our own dinner (because I wanted northern Thai food but didn't want to go out again) which is prob not encouraged by other hotels but no problem here, we had a small but full kitchen and everthing we needed included the dining table for 8. They washes dishes too (just need to ask and tip house keeper a little).
