Dead sea trip

The spa staff were great! My girlfriend and I had a few different treatments and they were wonderful.
Overall the hotel is okay. The customer services with the staff (bit the spa staff. ..they were great) was the biggest issue. For example there were no signs for any of the food at breakfast, this it was very hard to figure out what each item was. We talked to them about this each morning until our last when my girlfriend said to the manager "what if someone had an allergies" as my girlfriend does . He laughed at her. I think If the staff would act a bit more professionally the place would get a much higher ranking...service goes a long ways.

Enjoyable day at the Dead Sea

View of the Dead Sea from every window, location, chopped liver
We only stayed for 1 night and everything was comfortable. The one call out was we were going to miss complimentary breakfast. The other hotels made us a to-go breakfast, we didn't get the offer here.

Everthing is made for Russian customers

the Decor is OK
The food was'nt great and employees did not speak good english. Most of them were Russians. At the spa, there were so many confusions. My appointment was not registered and I had to wait 30 mins to get someone to look after me. When I did the check out I had 3 treatment billed instead of 1! This hotel is made for Russian customers as most of the employees are russians. They serve borsch at dinner which is not exactly the israel typical food you would expect. The employees need training in customer service

Nice location, bad service

Nice location, professional and friendly team at the reception
Unprofessional service in restaurant (hectic and unprofessional staff, unfriendly and loud) and bar (red wine served in champagne glasses...) dirty private beach (plastic bottles and bags, cigarettes, metal and glass pieces...) For this price per night we expected much more.

Not a great atmosphere

Location, fitness room
We stayed there for three days - it we hadn't prepaid we would have left for a different hotel. The atmosphere was oppressive. The staff are miserable and under paid and some were downright rude (reception). We felt sorry for the kitchen staff and waiters who were friendly once you got to know them. The plates and cups were unclean and if you have special dietary constraints, this is not the hotel for you if you're paying half board. The worst thing were the loaves of bread that all the guests touch in order to slice - we decided to refrain from eating bread. Truly awful experience and we were pleased to leave. Lastly, the fitness room air-con was on heat because it's part of the central system - making a work-out most uncomfortable. The whole experience made us feel unwelcome. Last but not least, although there is wi-fi, you only get one hour free/per day.
