Oceano is the boss
Oceano is a sick resort. Staff are helpful and your room is cleaned regularly and towels are always fresh. The room fit out is dated but is made up for by the service, grounds and hospitality. Will come back.

Close to perfect
I got the hotel at a discounted price. It was an amazing value for money. The restaurant is very good. Large choice (coq au vin, chocolat mouse, ...) everything we ate was perfect. Excellent breakfast buffet. Recommended

Find somewhere else to stay.
Stay anywhere but here. This is probably the worst value option on Gili T. Here are a few of the things that happened when we stayed: 1. They had not cleaned up the room before we came in. Glasses full of beer where outside. The staff did not clean this up for another 6 hours after we had requested 3 times. 2. They refused to let us check out 30 min later, even though no one was staying after us. Moreover, they were very rude about saying no. 3. Mosquitoes were everywhere in the room. 4. The shower was clogged so water went up to your feet within seconds of turning it on. They didn't fix until, once again, we asked 3 times for them to clean it up. 5. The sink was clogged. They never fixed it after three days of us staying there and requested for it to be changed. Ultimately, the worst was just the level of professionalism, hospitality, and service. They would never say "sorry" if something was wrong and would only fix an issue after multiple requests for it to be fixed. Even basic things, like "check out time", couldn't be answered. Not one staff member wanted to help with any issue. In fact, when we asked for help, they treated us with disgust! I've been to Gili T three times now. It's a fanstastic island! Trust me, for your money, you can get much, much better value. Stay anywhere but here.
