Beautiful ground with next to the Avon river.

Attentive staff, converted mill, transportation within walking distance.
Really enjoyed our stay. Great view of the Avon river from our window. Sits on old toll bridge. Near village with great history and friendly town folk. Friendly and helpful staff.

Nice staff, average room

Helpful staff, low cost, close to countryside
Friendly and helpful reception staff. Room was clean but tired, nice bathroom. We didn't use the restaurant or have breakfast so can't comment on the food. Short drive into City Centre and close to countryside for canal/walking/cycling.

Great location next to a river, but next to a road

views of river
The room was not to large, had nice furniture and a nice comfortable bed, but the radiator was not working, it was on full but no heat, the room got cold at night. The bathroom was clean and stylish, but to get hot water you had to turn the tap fully about 8 times. Just outside the window was the river, but also a road which can be quite busy as its used as a rat run to avoid traffic. I didnt eat at the hotel, but food looked good.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: accross the bridge is a nice pub, good food, a little expencive, but in the summer time a tour boat stops at the docks behind this pub and you can get a tour down to pultney weir and back again. You can get off at Pultney weir and go round Bath and get a later boat home. Very nice way to travel for shopping and sight seeing

Lovely hotel!

Views from the hotel room
We stayed in this hotel for a night and enjoyed it! There is a lake accompanied by a small waterfall surrounding the hotel and it is BEAUTIFUL! Our room allowed us the view of the lake and its very pretty! The staff at the reception was friendly and flexible too. Wifi access had to be paid but when it couldnt work on my laptop, she kindly suggested for me to use it on my phone and ipad and said she will not charge us for it anyway. Rooms were absolutely spacious as well! It was a great experience overall and I will definitely be booking with this hotel again.

Nice hotel

Fantastic view
The view of the hotel is fantastic. The breakfast is nice n they serve good beers. Only one comment is the bed is too small.
Shubhashish M. Couples India, March 5, 2012
Nice hotel, need few more things to be updated

Location, good views, Bathampton mill restaurant across the bridge was great
we stayed there for a night, few customer service things they can keep in mind, a couple will sleep on a double size bed, rather than two seperate beds, when its said on the registration that we are a couple, we had to put the beds together first thing :)dont know if being agoda customer reduces the service you receive, or maybe we expected more. although, nice friendly staff, no quibbles, scope of improvement is there.
Travel tip: Choose a hotel within city if you're on a short trip to Bath city, Hotel's totally out of city and not great if you wanna go out till late in night, V cars(taxi service) is good though. Bath is definitely romantic and a lovely city, may stay closer to town centre next time though
