not a very nice stay

We stayed here as a stop over between fights from London and our onward flight to Goa the following day, however we’d booked and paid for the wrong night by mistake and didn’t realise until we arrived at 2am in the morning after the flight, our flight arrived at 00.25 and instead of making the booking starting on the date before we arrived, we’d made it for the night of the date we arrived, an easy mistake to make. They said they only had 2 single rooms available each room was the same cost as the double we’d already paid for, but we had no choice other than to take them both. We were put in rooms on different floors and they were the smallest rooms I have ever come across, after my boyfriend popped in to see me before we went to sleep he was accosted by the man on reception and told he had forgot to charge us for the tax, so had to pay another Rs500. My toilet wasn’t working properly and didn’t stop filling the cistern, the sink was not clean and the TV and digital box did not work. Luckily I was so tired from the flight that I just slept and we left as soon as we could the following day, preferring to get to the airport 2 hours earlier than we needed to rather than spend any more time here. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and will certainly never go back.

Lovely Hotel and Service with a smile

The rooms are relatively clean. But needs to improve the cleanliness and hygienic condition of the plates for breakfast. Also quality of break fast needs to improved.
The rooms were relatively clean. But the breakfast was served in dirty cups/plates. Need to follow good food hygienic practices, which seemed lacking. Otherwise I was generally satisfied with the hotel. I hope the management will review the food handling practices being followed.

Good location for Airport

Free airport transfers
Nice to get picked up from airport. Good for a night between flights. a/c works good.
Hotel Feature Tip: Although we asked for airport pick up, we had to call hotel and wait for their car. Not a long wait. Have hotel phone number handy when arrive at airport so it easier to call.

Bad location
They didnt have a room ready for me when I came, even though I had it booked. So had to wait for 3 hours.. and after a long flight thats not what I needed. So not a good start in Mumbai.

Decent food and services, but poor location

Food, proximity to airport, customer service, free wireless
I chose this hotel because it was relatively inexpensive and offered transportation from the hotel. Sadly, I was unable to use this transport, but this was not the hotel's fault, just a misunderstanding. Although I did book this place for several days, I left after about a week because the surrouding slums were a bit depressing. The food service at this hotel is very good though, and the free wifi is a nice benefit. It was actually the most reliable internet I had in all of Mumbai, and I was also at two other hotels that were much more glamorous, but had complications with their internet on a egular basis. The things I didn't like include the level of cleanliness. I didn't see any bed bugs, but I did find two fleas bouncing on the bed that perished with a drop of sanitizer each. The first hotel I was at was much worse, so this didn't really bother me. The location is also dirty, so if you plan on doing a lot of walking like I did, then the slums might get to you. The hotel isn't truly surrounded by them, but it still is since they tend to inhabit available space nearby. Overall, I needed a cheap place to stay with free internet, and this place provided me with that. Cleanliness issues were the biggest for me, and might make me reconsider next time, but it still served its purpose for me and saved me a few hundred dollars given the duration of my stay in Mumbai.

Terrible service

Bathroom was clean
We arrived on a difficult day - the whole city of Mumbai had closed due to a state funeral taking place, so undoubtedly this put some strain on the staff. We think the hotel has all food cooked offsite and as a result of the state funeral they were unable to get any food brought in; however it took three attempts to order food for us to explain this to us, I kept being asked to try again in half an hour. If they had explained the problem I would have left them alone for a bit. One member of staff eventually said she would call round other hotels to see if she could order some food in for guests, I'm not sure how many people were staying here but we saw one other asking about food. After a couple of hours the girl was still on the phone and her colleague said our only option was to go to the supermarket round the corner. No supermarkets were open, all shops were shut apart from pharmacies. Soon after we returned I found the staff in a side room eating lunch - they had ordered food in for themselves. So while they ate rice, daal and curry we had been trying to make a pharmacy-bought toblerone last us for lunch and dinner... we were not impressed. One staff member kept asking for cash when we ordered bottles of water rather than putting them on our bill. We never received our free bottle as advertised, although perhaps the books say different and he pocketed the cash for himself. The bed sheets grease-stained from where previous guests have eaten their meals on their beds, and our room smelled of cigarette smoke. We arranged a wake up call and free transfer to the airport, but the staff decided to wake us half an hour early (3:30am) and change our taxi time without discussing it with us first, presumably to save some cash and send a few guests in one taxi. They even called our room ten minutes before their prearranged time to remind us, only for us to find that the clock in reception is set 15 minutes early. In the end we had to wait 20 minutes in reception an
Travel tip: Free airport transfer good but would never stay here again.

Great for short stays and business travelers

Value for the money
A bit hard to find and the neighborhood is not great but inside is a nice little place. Rooms are small but you have AC and LCD screen with many channels. The sheets and towels looked clean but present some spots that could not be washed out. The bathroom is also small but hot water was fine. I did not try the wifi.
