Very clean and modern, good breakfast, comfortable, overall high standard hotel

Would highly reccommend this hotel - for British standards it is very high and for the price, better than what you would get in Britain!

Good location to down town, but old fashioned room

It was generally ok, but no renovations made for room. and most of all, I was so disappointed at no gym was available. Though sauna was possible to use.
Restaurant Tip:
Savoy restaurant was decent

On the arrival the staff was very smiling and helpful, and it has been so during the whole stay. The breakfast buffet offered a large choice of european and local food. The general atmosphere gave the feeling of calm, peace and comfort. Quite few weaknesses as mentioned above, both were not really important. Certainly I will stay again at the Cosmos President when I go back to Helsinki, that city and the country are beautiful and interesting to visit, as well as the sea cruise possibilities.
Unfortunately very few restaurants in the city with local food.

High quality of breakfast, a good trained staff, kind enough

Hotel was located in a good place in the center of Helsiki,
near the central station and the bus stop of airpot bus, near the shopping mall and severa histrorical place where we could go around by walk. Hotel staff was freindly and well-tained.
I will visit to the same hotel if I have a chance.

Best location in Helsinki with good money!
Location, clean rooms and overall clean hotel, hot tube.

Overall value for money
Quite near to the main station, but still it's 10 minutes away, unlike the Sokos Valuuta Hotel which is right outside the train station. Nice and professional receptionists, free sauna

Overall a good value for money. Free sauna (open 6.30-8.30am and 6.30-8.30pm) and swimming pool. Great choice at breakfast.
Clean spacious room with rocking chair. It took me sometime to find the exact location of the hotel even I had print out a google map(probably 6-7 minutes' walk from the main station).It's actually a black block of building just opposite to Kamppi shopping mall. Big supermarket in Kamppi is nearby which opens till 8pm.
The only drawback was the rude attitude of the receptionist when we check-out. Other than that, everything is fine.

Hotel Presidentti in Helsinki

I have stayed in Sokos hotels in Helsinki and other Finland locations at least 100 times over the past 22 years. Because of availability or price differences, I discovered the Presidentti about 4 years ago and I like it for its easy access to the RR station, good room layout, nice lobby, and excellent staff and breakfast. For the price, this place ranks very high for central Helsinki hotel.
