Good stay
We were a family with a 1 yr old girl.. Overall it was a good stay and we were quite happy with the facilities.. However, we felt there are few scope for improvement 1. Not all areas of the resort are stroller friendly and we had to lift it up, which was a pain. This would be applicable to handicapped people too. There should be a way to go to the Club lounge, boat dock and kids play area with a stroller.. it can be easily made by having a sloped path instead of stairs 2. The afternoon snacks for the club members are mostly sweet (cakes, fruits, etc). Though the choice were many and food were excellent, we felt the need of some non-sweet snacks like puffs, etc. There was sandwich, but that's it. People with limitation on their sweet intake, will find some non-sweet food items helpful

3rd time there, still impressed
Outstanding experience, once again. This is our 3rd stay in this place and we were very very happy with it. There were no surprises (we are aware of need to pay extra for child(ren)), we stayed for 5 nights, service was exceptional and we have no complaints. 4 of us (family with children 8 and 4 of age) were very comfortable in a single room. Breakfast was really good, bread is out of this world. They have some of the best bread I've tried in hotels (and elsewhere). Water slide was fun, pool is excellent, beach was really nice this time and waves were not too big, there is nothing to complain about. Real revelation was Metzo's restaurant, which we didn't get a chance to dine in, during previous trips. Food was stunning, we were lucky to also be there for Friday night "Pasta buffet" (although least of what we ate was pasta), apetizers, salads and bread were amazing. Make sure to try kebab and walnut cake. Really, do not miss the walnut cake. Seriously :)

Relaxing Holiday in an excellent hotel with beauti
Great for kids and parents, breakfast awesome, restaurants very expensive but shuttle outside Laguna available frequently. Seafood barbecue highly recommended. Laguna area is quiet and for enjoying Thai food and culture you must definitely go to Phuket town. Hotel is excellent with very friendly staff.

Family with 2 Infants
We stayed in the Outrigger for 4 nights. The room was nice, with plenty of space, large bed, balcony and a large day bed over looking the lagoon. Two travel cots were provided as requested. For adults and older children the room is perfect. For us the bathroom was an issue as it had a sunken bath with two tiled stairs leading down to it. The bathroom door was a roller door and our oldest boy (19months) was constantly trying to get in. We had to block it off with his cot to stop him hurting himself. If we didn't have kids, the bathroom was ideal. Check in was quick and efficient. Breakfast was good with a wide variety of options. 3 swimming pools, one with swim up bar and shallow area for kids. The main pool had a waterslide which kept my oldest child amused for hours. All staff were attentive and helpful to all requests, even providing a steamer to assist with the bottles. The hotel has a kids playroom with a small selection of toys/blocks/lego etc. There is a daily arts/craft schedule for children of more than 4 years, who can be left with the staff on duty. Children under 4 must be accompanied in the playroom. The kids club offers an evening entertainment package from 6-9 for children which costs about £15 per child. The room also has a Wii and a selection of DVD's for older children. Outside there is a small climbing frame and some swings. Some parts are only shaded by trees so it was too hot to use in the morning and early afternoon. The Outrigger has its own private beach which is adjacent to the swimming pool. On the beach there are a selection of local bars, restaurants and massage outlets that offer alternatives to the hotel. The lifts are quite narrow and we struggled getting a double stroller in and out and it would not take a standard double pram. We would recommend two single strollers for those travelling with 2 infants. We stayed in a lagoon facing room which was about 10min from the pool area. If staying again we would stay in a pool or beach facing r
