Fine Place for weekend

Near-beach location, quite big suite, acceptable breakfast
We were travelling here in the weekends. Book a suite via Agoda and the room is ok. The lift is however a thrilling. In general, this hotel is quite ok for such price. It's better if they can replace the lifts and do some decorations.

Great spot but noisy

Location, large rooms, clean
While the view from the rooms facing the beach is spectacular, unfortunately even on the 10th floor the noise from the street is intrusive and when the disco cranks up it gets worse. The rooms at the back are a better choice.

Outstanding service

Staff, breakfast variety, location
This was the second time visiting and I enjoyed my stay even more this time. The custom egg preparation and variety of fruits, juices and othe breakfast esentials was remarkable. I had reviewed before as a aging building though am forgiving this obvious slight due to the amenities provided and the service of the staff. All were very pleasant especially Hong sp?/ Rose, who due to her better command of English was extremely helpful on a number of occasions. The location also is a plus with the early morning seafood and produce sidewalk market a 5 minute walk away, a wide variety of numererous restaurant and evening entertainment venues with in a 10 minute walk.

Large Asian run hotel.

Location, the Vung Tau to Saigon ferry terminal is 150meters away and recommenced service whilst we were there Christmas Eve 2014.
This is a large Asian run hotel with the few customers we saw being Asian decent. The Hotel had a pool and gym both were padlocked shut the week we were there. The housekeepers were dreadful. They would make the bed, same sheets but not leave any toilet paper or clean towels. Every day we had to ask for toilet paper and towels. We had to leave the rubbish bin outside the door as they constantly never emptied the bins. Breakfast was without doubt the worst we encountered in seven weeks through Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand. This Hotel definitely does not cater for the western market which is a shame as it could be a beautiful hotel under western management. We booked a suite and another ocean view room the views were lovely, and the room size good.

Everything was POOR, Except for the Staff

The Good Thing is the Staff
This is definitely the last time I am staying in this hotel. I have stayed in a better 2 star hotel. Room. The room was clean, which is why a 2 for Room Comfort/Standard. BUT my room was so near the disco, as such the music was very loud till 3 am. I never had a single good night sleep. Food. The breakfast was horrible. The choices were very limited and it's the same thing every day. Most of the facilities (gym, swimming pool etc) are closed by 6 pm. The only good thing I would like to compliment is the helpful staff. They go an extra mile to help made the trip more pleasant. I hope I will see them again in another hotel when I visit Vung Tau city again.

The view
We stayed here last year and loved it so much that we said if we every returned we would stay again which we did .... 12 months later we stayed and were so disappointed that it has been run down and the staff were so unfriendly and unhelpful the rooms did not feel clean the breakfast was a let down it was just a sad place to be ... It has the best view if you get a front room .... Wow what is happened to the staff these days that is what makes your stay they don't have it any more last year they could not do enough for you this year ... Well put it this way we will not be returning
