Very close to beach with good spa facilities.

Thelasso spa and hot spring
Couldn’t find the hotel as the name has changed. Now called Pacific Hotspring & Beach Resort, Aegean Sea. New ownership? The hotel appears to have been built about 20 years ago and it seems as if absolutely no maintenance has been carried out on the building ever since. It is covered in white tiles and many have fallen off. Dirt and grime have accumulated on the walls giving the whole building a scruffy and dilapidated appearance. The rooms are in reasonable condition but a bit scruffy. Beds were very comfortable. With sea view and a small balcony. Efficient air conditioning. Small windowless bathroom with shower in bath, and a toilet. Have to pass washbasin to get there. Closed off with sliding doors, which makes it noisy. Moon is a separate building, so you have to cross the road (about 10 yards) to reach the main building with spa and restaurant. There are umbrellas at the ready on both sides of the road, but if the wind is blowing, you get wet. Breakfast had a reasonable choice, but the quality was inadequate. Mostly Chinese and very unappetising (a pool of yellowish liquid in the scrambled eggs and the bacon had been boiled and was cold. It looked disgusting). This hotel is supposed to have a 4 star rating. Of all the hotels we stayed in (6 different), this was easily the worst of the bunch. The view of the beach from the restaurant is beautiful, and took our minds off what was sitting on the plate in front of us. One highlight is the Chapel Café down on the beach in a round building with a blue roof. They serve pasta and pizza, which were good and quick. The sweet potato chips were delicious. The owner speaks very good English Note that the hotel is not pictured on the booking page, not surprising due to its tatty appearance. The beach is not far away, but we were there in April and the beach was closed (Taiwanese law, from October to end of April, I think). Wifi is a closed system and very fast. TV with plenty of English programs

冬の滞在だったため、ビーチの立地生かせず。 レストランが、ひとつだけ。 スタッフの対応はよい。 gaikannga kitanai

原預定的是攬月樓,卻給迎曦樓;房間內部破舊,飲水杯也沒洗乾淨還有咖啡殘渣,根本不值那價錢 :(
