The Paringa is beautifully located near all the main attractions of Adelaide, shops, restaurants etc. The problem with this is that it can be incredibly noisy on the street outside. The first night we stayed there was some sort of rugby game on in town, and the revelling was still going on at 6 a.m. After that we asked for a quieter room, and got given one with no fuss.

Pleasant receptionarea,friendly cleaners.
Moving rooms/we were allotted a rear room with; metal frame windows ,welded shut/distorted frames+opaque wired glass.
Bathroom/taps dripped/basin cracked/showerhead difficult to adjust.
aircon control hung by cable/room dark/old TV.
Over the last 12 years we have stayed 4 times at Paringa.This by far our worst experience.
Travel tip : near shops + restaurants tho very,very crowded on Saturday nights.
