Loaction, nice room sort of funky wuithout being over the top
Breakfast is a bit average
The Rockford Adelaide is a perfectly acceptable hotel well located within city center of Adelaide. Close to restauarants, night life and for those who enjoy a morning walk the interesting Adelaide produce markets are only a few blocks away.
Rooms are nice and clean, well presented, mine had a spa bath as well as walk in shower.
Hotel is in Adelaide which is a bit sleepy at night but hotel is quiet and comfortable and only 10 minutes from the airport.
Breakfast offer was a bit average.. but to be honest I didnt expect a 5 star hotel type of breakfast buffet so no issues with this.
Overall good hotel for the money and for short term business trips
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Adelaide produce markets are good to get a coffee and a danish at in the morning.. only a few blocks away

Clean, spacious, well appointed. Only hotel we have had so far with heating in the bathroom. Nice restaurant.
Our room was next to a late night venue which was exceedingly noisy until 4.45am, meaning we didn't get much sleep. It didn't help that the sliding door didn't seal properly.
We had one night at the Rockford as it was a drop off point for a Murray River Cruise. Although the room was tidy, spacious and clean we would not stay here again due to our lack of sleep and also the area of the city it was in which didn't feel as safe as some of the other areas.

fabulous pool, great location, loved the buffet bkfst
noise from the renos were bothersome especially @ 07:00 in the am
The front desk staff were excellent.... friendly & most helpful. When I had problems trying to use the internet Kelly?(front desk clerk with dark hair & pony tail) looked at my computer & was able to immediately pinpoint a solution & did it in such a nice way so I did not feel totally stupid...she even gave me a lovely compliment. The pool was a huge bonus Loved the size of the pool as well as the deck area so I could do laps & my friends could sit in the shade & read their books or look over the city . The complimentary breakfast was very good especially the juice & cappuccino machines. This hotel was very central to shops & live theatre & restaurants I felt I had excellent value for the $ spent
Nightlife Tip : Walking distance to the Queen Elizabeth & other theatres for live entertainment Also convenient shuttle from airport

One female Staff is nice to help for bus direction and print out the map for us. Another is not so nice and just told us to find the map from the tourist center.
Too noisy and just in the strip club street
The hotel is sit in the center of strip clubs. It's very noisy during weekend. we were constantly awoken by the noises around 2-3am from the nightclub on the other side of the street during weekend. Monday was less noisy.
The hotel is only five kilometeres from Adelaide Domestic and International Airport, the hotel is within walking distance of the Convention Center, Rundle Mall, Skycity Casino, museums and art galleries. Hindley Street is one of Adelaide's seedier spots, with strip clubs, 24 hour bars, etc. along its length.
The location is close to airport, only the noise and strip club bother me. It's good for people who likes club. Not good for a family trip.
