Location. Clean rooms.

Staff could be just a little bit nicer.

Alice Springs is a little rough in general. You do feel like you're in the middle of nowhere. This hotel is pretty decent given the location. The rooms are clean and the air conditioning works. If you're looking for a luxury resort, this isn't your place. The location is right in the middle of the town (it's small), so it's easy to walk around and get back to the hotel. They wouldn't give me a coupon (unlike other guests) for the Red Ochre restaurant below. Not a huge deal, but it's nice to get ~$20 off when you're trying out some of the 'exotic' dishes at the restaurant.
