Located 5 minutes from the town center, as well as just a few kilometers from the train station, the lodge is very well situated for a stopover or simply someone who is not yet sure what they will do in this region. Be sure to check out the Alice Springs Reptile Center, where visitors can view a wonderful array of some of the cold-blooded inhabitants of the earth. Run by a very enthusiastic women, the Center is fun for the family and educational as well. Alice Springs has many outdoors activities to offer, and if being on the budget end is of some sort of importance, it is difficult to beat Heavitree Gap Outback Resort.

The wallabies
Would have been better if had a car to far fron town etc
Rude staff
Cleanleness & lack of equipment no hair dryer in family rooms
Was not satisfied with my stay the receptionist was quite rude we had to ask twice for the room with a kitchen we had booked & then there wasn't any thing you could do with in the microwave oven And we found dirty sox in the bathroom cupboard
