Set amidst a family friendly environment, this property is located on the banks of the Avon River, a short drive south of York to the main Beverley Road. With a variety of rooms to choose from, whether it is a two bedroom cottage in international themes, a three bedroom, fully wheelchair compliant unit or Bed & Breakfast room in the farmhouse, all of which are self contained creating a perfect ‘home away home’ feeling. For leisure, guests can visit the activity room with table tennis, table soccer, darts and a drawing board, while leaving the children at the sand pile and other playing equipments. You can also experience feeding the animals in the evening and collecting the eggs or enjoy evening walks through the Australian trees along the river bank or sandalwood plantation. Lavendale Farm Stay is also a home to horses and ponies, alpacas and donkeys, two pet pigs and an ostrich.
Children and extra beds:Guests over 15 years old are considered as adults.

Lovely cabin and interesting to the kids

Cabin was comfortable and host were warm. Being from the city, my children loved the nightly feeding of the animals very much; and we enjoyed the clear starry night sky and morning strolls around the farm.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Didn't find much to do (interesting to us) in Avon Valley, but we were there only for 2 days. Some farms we tried to visit in Northam closed.

The only disadvantage of this B&B is the location, you must have your own car to get there. But the B&B owner is very nice, we did have a good chatting with her and we like the breakfast there!
