The pool at the outback pioneer is really nice and clean. The pioneer hotel is away from all the other hotels on the resort and is the only place you can buy alcohol (to my knowledge)

We stayed here on our second night because we could only get one night in the campground cabin. This was your typical 3-star (US) hotel room. Clean, had fridge and microwave, good AC and bathroom. Bathroom had a "razor-only" outlet, which is perfect for US plugs. Would stay in campground cabin 1st (as long as you don't need a bathroom in your place), but this is your 2nd option based on price and what you get.

Had a happy experience with the stay at Outback Pioneer hotel, the food was affordable, the room was well maintained, and the place was strategically located, near enought to the national park. We had enjoyed the restaurant and the BBQ food and the fish and chips too.
