The hotel is right in the middle of the mall making it a shoppers paradise.

The rooms need refurbishment. It is not a four star hotel. The corridors leading to the rooms were musty. The bathroom was better than the room.

You couldn't fault the hotel for its positioning. Easy access to the water and quay. Lovely restaurants around the vicinity and great shopping at your doorstep. The staff were polite but unfriendly and didn't know anything about the area, its restaurants and nightlife.

Restaurant Tip : Take a short ferry ride to the power house restaurant. It has great views, lovely setting and excellent food. The ride on the river was also wonderful.

Excellent location, extremely clean

I had just finished 3 weeks in the Solomon Islands... there is no cons

The first time I had stayed in Brisbane was up on Wickham Terrace. Although it was an interesting walk during the day, at night it was a tad long. The Chiffley at Lennons was perfect, smack dab in the middle of Queen Street Market.... the hub of Brisbane shopping. Also I was extremely impressed with the Quality of the hotel itself the cleanliness of the rooms and the reception area is quite impressive. The next time I'm in Brisbane I know where I'll be staying.

The best thing about the hotel was that is was in the heart of the shopping available in Brisbane CBD and not far from river and gardens

The weakness is that there is no front door greeting.  You are unable to drive to the door and this is not apparent when making our reservation.  There is vehicle access but by way of a lane at the back of hotel.  This needs to be highlighted.  We were unable to find front door and had to be "dropped off" with our luggage and had to "lug" cases through the streets looking for access. Not a good start to break.

Review - Firstly we found the lack of vehicle access to the front of the hotel a problem and feel that the entrance to hotel should be made clear in their advertising. It was the second day that we were made aware that vehicles arrive at the lane at the back of hotel.  We asked for non-smoking room and were obviously allocated a room that had had a smoker.  The change was dealt with efficiently by staff member. The room was clean and tidy. Access to Brisbane shopping was 100% could not have been any better.    

Hotel Feature Tip : The lack of advertised vehicle access to front door.  It should be highlighted that access was by lane at back of hotel.
