The best thing about the hotel was that is was in the heart of the shopping available in Brisbane CBD and not far from river and gardens
The weakness is that there is no front door greeting. You are unable to drive to the door and this is not apparent when making our reservation. There is vehicle access but by way of a lane at the back of hotel. This needs to be highlighted. We were unable to find front door and had to be "dropped off" with our luggage and had to "lug" cases through the streets looking for access. Not a good start to break.
Review - Firstly we found the lack of vehicle access to the front of the hotel a problem and feel that the entrance to hotel should be made clear in their advertising. It was the second day that we were made aware that vehicles arrive at the lane at the back of hotel. We asked for non-smoking room and were obviously allocated a room that had had a smoker. The change was dealt with efficiently by staff member. The room was clean and tidy. Access to Brisbane shopping was 100% could not have been any better.
Hotel Feature Tip : The lack of advertised vehicle access to front door. It should be highlighted that access was by lane at back of hotel.
