river terrace motel is good if you want value and don't care about not having your own toilet and bathroom. as they say, what you see is what you get. there's easy roadside access while is about 400 metres from the fabulous pinapple pub. there's plenty of secure parking. our room was clean and tidy, complete with bar fridge, kettle and tea and coffee. and just accross the road are stairs to descend to the river and just a short bike ride (or walk) to southbank.
Nightlife Tip:
Cheeck out the nearby (down the hill) Pineapple Pub.

great little hotel great location just out of town

was a great stay enjoyed alot even tho its beside a major road cant hear the traffic except for the occasional truck breaking but apart from that great wonderful selection of information for tourists in the main office
Restaurant Tip:
this will sound bad but just down the road is the best kfc ever :D

Small rooms, but big on value
Cheaper than a backpackers if sharing a twin room, close to the city.

Staff: Friendly and Helpful.
Price: Very good, shared a twin room with my friend and it cost less than a backpackers (plus bonus of having the room to yourself instead of random travellers).
Room: Small but had a good LCD tv, fridge and table/chairs.
Facilities: Toilets/shower rooms were clean but small, didnt bother me though. Shower curtain could do with being thrown out and replaced however.
Area: Close to the city. Takeaways and 24/7 supermarket just down the road.

Good Location, Basic Hostel Facility

the hotel is a hostel like facility. shared bath room (two toilets and two showers on each floor with 15 rooms). a kitchen is available, but no plates or dishes were provided. room was basic, with a washing basin. i had the room for three nights and they did not come to clean the room.
staff was helpful in suggesting travel spots.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Burbie Island is a good place to go, if you have an extra day. About 1 hour from Brisbane, the island had nice beaches and you can rent a fishing boat for 85 Aud. ( 5 hours, for 5 people)

Most creepy motel

Inconvenient eventhough its situated near the city. Very dirty. Toilets had to be shared. Beds are small. Heater not working. You can even hear your next door neighbour talking & making love. We checked out within 30 mins of checking in.
