Lighting in rooms a bit dull
The room was extremely neat &clean, all facitlities worked well although we found the lighing in the room a bit dull particularly for reading in bed. It was nice touch to a have free paper delivered to the door in the morning. All the staff were very friendly

The room was very large with a sink, kettle and microwave. The disappointment was the cost of internet ($29 per day!) and the housekeeping. I am sure they make the bed and cleaned the bathroom and then forgot to do anything else. So I had no milk, dirty cups etc... The location is great as you can stroll along Southbank to the Friendship Bridge to Brisbane central. There are great dining and coffee option along Southbank. The room I was in had a balcony overlooking the river. The room was very large with a sink, kettle and microwave.
The disappointment was the cost of internet ($29 per day!) and the housekeeping. I am sure the make the bed and cleaned the bathroom and then forgot to do anything else. This is not a cheap hotel and the expectation is professional standards in everything.
The breakfast was very good with the normal range of hot and cold offerings.
Finally, the staff were friendly and helpful.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Stroll along Southbank to the Friendship Bridge; walk over to Brisbane central. There are great dining and coffee option along Southbank.

Unlike previous trips to this hotel this time the shower did not work properly but a bit of creativity with a flannel as a strap fixed that.
Restaurant Tip : If you want something different - try Ahmtes on Grey Street
