Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

Concierge - really helpful with restaurant recommendations, airticket arrangement, local tour information
Location - good location, although it's not right in the city centre, just 5 to 10 mins walk to the shopping center. Very convenient
Recommended - value for money with good location and good customer services. The restaurant and bars are also very good. Good for both leisure holiday and business. Hotel is in good condition. There are different types of pillows for customers to choose from.

The location: right above Brisbane central railway station takes you for only AUD$14. directly to hotels escalator facing the reception desk. How more convenient than that can it get. Once inside, the reality of Brisbane central is completely left behind and one is immediately ensconced in 5-star luxury. Good breakfast buffet. Good beds and a pillow menu to indulge your pillow idiosyncrasies: down, foam, etc.
Hotel staff need more training regarding their own specials and not confuse hotel guests with their ignorance. The much vaunted Thyme restaurant produced dried salmon steak and inedible polenta on my one dinner visit which made me vow n.a.=never again. Incredibly slow computers in their business center. Advice: bring your own.
This was my second visit to Sofitel Brisbane as I had been impressed with them the first time. But on this occasion I was attending a conference and needed the business centre's facilities. I found it locked after 9a.m. which required a trip down to reception to request that it be opened. The computer provided with broadband was incredibly slow so that what should have taken 10 minutes required 1 hour. Totally unacceptable.
Staff were not knowledgeable about their own specials and were not sufficiently polite in conversation but that was not the end of the world. All in all, it was a satisfactory stay and yes I would return.
Hotel Feature Tip : The location is unbeatable for Brisbane. You save hundreds in taxi fare. It is on the free bus loop for the city centre, operating all day everyday.

Central Station under the hotel. Bus stops, food court and shopping streets are in short walking distances, ideal location. Room space is generous and the most important thing is the most comfortable beds. We arrived after midnight one day earlier and could have a room there at the same rate as we booked by Agoda.
Bad communication between staff. Last day of our trip we wanted to keep the room till 18:00. The receptionist told us that the cost would be $100 (1/2 of what we paid for one day) but by checking out they charged us $170 more at the normal room rate price.
We will go there again if we go to Brisbane but this time will have to manage all complete booking by internet.
