Fun but expensive

We choose the resort unit room type, so we can enjoy the sea view from our room and the room space is more than enough for our family of 3 (1Double and 1 single bed). The room also equipped with Tv and DVD player, Kitchen with microwave oven which you can have small cooking if you bring along all the food stuff. Dolphin Feeding is free for the hotel's ghest but we will allow only two small fish to feed the dolphin, then you can buy the photo taken by the resort which cost a lot. Another activity should not missed is Safari/ Sand dune tour which you can enjoy the sand boarding as much as you liked. This is fun and exciting.

Good family resort

Good room and view. One thing I'm not happy is that the staff is not empathetic. My kid suffers an asthmatic attack during the stay and we request late check out for one hour only. But the staff refused to do so because our room is booked by others. She said we could stay late in another room by paying extra fee. I doubt why she didn't allocate that occupant to other room. Besides, what I request is just one hour later - that is 11am. Their standard check out time is 10am and is a bit early for holiday mood.

Stay Clear of the Tangalooma Resort
Moreton Island is nice, but the resort itself is abysmal

Moreton Island is a beautiful place, and the Tangalooma Resort takes full advantage of its monopoly position. The resort nickels and dimes the patrons in every manner possible. The resort staff have miserable attitudes (they obviously do not like having to work out there). I can't say enough about 7-11 store quality food with upscale restaurant prices.
If you have access to a private boat, do go to Moreton Island for day trips, but do not patronize the resort. If you want the kids to enjoy dolphins, arrange a private session at Sea World - it will be less expensive and infinitely more rewarding.

Tangalooma. Home of the dolphins
I love Tangalooma.
Its old.. Well some of it is new, but the hotel is old & I like it that way.
Staff & dolphins are very friendly, as long as you great them with a smile

Did I say "I LOVE TANGALOOMA"?
We (Hubby & I) went over to the Island to take part in the HAIR side of a wedding party being held on the island. (Trimbles Hair Design. Redcliffe QLD.) All the Tanga' staff helped us as much as they could, getting my bags off the boat as soon as possable so we could attend to our brides hair etc as we did'ent have alot of time.
The bridal party were staying in the lovely NEW (Posh) part of the complex, where thay shaired a private pool with other guests in that part. Very lovely!! We stayed in the hotel. The best part of the hotel is that WE are the only ones that get free the tickets to feed the dolphins. (We did give our tickets to the bride & groom as they were from the U.K. & we had hand fed on another trip). A beautful & romantic place to hold a wedding, get-together (We did this on a previous occasion with family) or just to chill out. GREAT.
Travel tip:
Dolphin feeding.
Swimming.
Chilling.
All sorts of things to do for outdoors preople.
Not for people who like to say on their computers!!! GO!! Have some FUN.

Hôtel surfait, réception charmant et non compétent

Nourrir les dauphins = donner un seul petit poisson de 50 g par personne juste le temps d'une photo commerciale et c'est au suivant. Tout le reste des poissons est donné par le personnel. Flash réservé au photographe attitré. Interdiction de toucher les dauphins. Or c'est le dauphin sauvage qui vient à la personne après l'avoir scannée.
Vie locale très chère car c'est une île. Internet payant à connexion variable selon la météo.
Voir nourrir les pélicans ou les poissons c'est voir quelques poissons ou miettes donnés aux animaux pendant 1 mn.
Publicité fracassante mais WE décevant. Séjour dauphin inutile car perte de temps.
Travel tip:
Séjour déconseillé. Nous avons écourté notre séjour prépayé pour visiter Brisbane qui est encore plus intéressant.

ชอบให้อาหารปลาโลมากับมือ. ครั้งเดียวในชีวิต มานอนสัก2วัน เล่นทุกกิจกรรม ต้องมาหน้าร้อน ไม่งั้นจะหนาวจนไม่กล้าลงทะเล เตรียมเงินมาจ่ายนะ ทุกอย่างเก็บตังค์ แต่ก็คุ้ม อ้อ! ให้อาหารโลมาฟรีค่ะ

位置优越，环境温馨，带着孩子入住的，非常适合带孩子旅行。酒店服务态度比较好，环境卫生。没有在酒店吃早餐，不知道早餐如何。
