Normands Byron Bay Hotel is backpackes accommodation and even if you pay for Kind Deluxe Room, you hardly get some sleep cause backpackers will be drinking and celebrating until early morning and in our case, they keep knocking on our room too.
Room itself looked great, however shower was broken. Well, it worked, but after you finish your shower, watter was everywhere!!!!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
I would recommend to go to the lighthouse during night. Wonderful view on Milky Way!!!

my friend and i had a ball! the nomads hostel in byron bay is perfect for the average nomad. it's in the centre of byron bay, the hostel is clean, the staff are friendly and the pub crawl on the magic bus was uber fun! i would recommend this hostel to anyone travelling to b-bay.

I spent 10 days in nomads and enjoy my stay .. the room as clean and there is hared bath rooms for girls and boys but also female bath rooms !
I do thing its most for a young type of back packers so its a little crazy when it comes to the music true the hole hostel ...

its a good location so if you want to be close to everything then this is the hostel to stay in

I thought a night for a king deluxe suite was a little over priced considering it was a backpackers however the hostel was very funky, great atmosphere, very social and a good vibe, a place to stay if your looking to meet other backpackers and if you like to party! It was noisy at night so I wouldnt recommend staying here if you want peace and quiet. We were a couple but didnt mind the noise as we wanted to socialise and party! Really great backpackers! nice cosmopolitan and modern style place! comfy beds...room was a bit smelly though!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Head to Nimbin for sure!
Eat the beef cheek in creamy red wine sauce at St Elmo's which is next to Nomads - its pricey but very delicious
Boho Cafe across from woolworths do great breakfast as does the balcony

lovely place to stay when you love packpackers

the nomads system is a system for whole australia. this nomads in byron bay is very nice located. everything is near. the nomads byron bay good the award best backpackers in australia. evrything is new and well planned and good managed. but never forget -y you are in a backpacker hotel - you have to love the system nomads to love this hotel.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
the whole area byron bay is worth to see. very cosy and very inspiring evrything around. great beaches, very well organized surf- lessions with pick-up service from the hotel. very athmospheric place.

by far the worst hostel we stayed in while we were in australia. rooms were disgusting. for a newer hostel, it sure doesn't look like it.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Byron Bay beach is a must see and must do. The sand is gorgeous.
