Hotel with friendly staff
Good location and reasonably priced

The receptionist are very friendly. When we booked the day tour with them, we get free drink vouchers for their restaurant. There are four of us and taking a taxi from Gold Coast airport to the hotel is about AUD22.00. Within walking distance to the City Central.

but a little far from Cairns city. 15-20 mins on foot. if u want to my something u can go easily Cairns central shopping centre. there has airport suttle service. it's good systems.

Good, clean rooms. I was put into a room with a queen-bed plus another single bed - good value if it was triple sharing! (Although I was traveling solo)

Quiet hotel with friendly staff
price for family room is quite good

Quiet hotel a bit away from the restaurants and shops. Need to walk at least 20 min to get to the restaurants. But there is a nice small sushi place on the same street, about 5 min walk, they have very fresh sushi. The hotel staff is friendly. it's a good hotel to stay with kids. The family room is a bit small. The rooms are clean, but the bathroom is a bit old. I would probably stay again, because the price is quite good.

On the main street where a lot of the hotels are; easy access via shuttle from airport

Stay was ok. No stairs; door hinge was broken. Customer service was ok. But thumbs up for free internet! Walkable to the Esplanade. But not really that safe to walk alone at night even around 8:30 pm in Sept.

lovely hotel, very central.
staff couldnt do enough for you, even checked us in for 9.30am as we had travelled up from airlie beach.

had a fantastic time at the best western city sheridan, staff so helpful. had continental breakfast in the hotel which was pretty good.the only thing i would say is try and get a room overlooking the pool as front of the hotel can be pretty noisy at night. i would go back to this hotel again.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
barefoot tours to the appleton tablelands is a brilliant full day tour not to be missed.

We were greeted with very friendly staff & arranged dinner very quickly for us. Room was nice, but smelt of strong cleaning products and was right on the main road so it was very noisy all night.

Congratulations on the excellency of your receptionist. The room was very good and the bed very comfortable. I think you probably need to have the washers changed in the shower and bathroom sink as there was a tendency for the taps to leak which was a waste of water.
I can't rate food and dining as we did not eat there so will put in a three
