The Blue Lagoon Resort is the perfect spot for a romantic or secluded beach vacation. Though not directly on the beach all the rooms are built around the huge freeform swimming pool and over look the lake. It’s just a five minute walk to the welcoming community of Trinity Beach, where you can find shops, banks, restaurants etc as well as the beautiful beach itself. Accommodation ranges from studio to three bedroom apartments, all fully self contained and with private balconies. The onsite bistro and cafe are great options if you don’t want to walk to Trinity Beach and the Tour Desk makes trips to the Great Barrier Reef and the Tablelands a breeze.

Couples Australia, April 07, 2013	Relaxing, great position/staff, fabulous balcony Great Design of Room, situated between Cairns and Port Douglas and close to Skyrail, walking distance to beach - about 5 minutes. 9.7 We had a fantastic stay. Apartment well designed. Unique option to turn TV into bedroom/loungeroom through a shared wall. Kitchen well equipped. Huge Fridge. Balcony was huge with great views. Air-conditioning x 2 (one in bedroom and one in loungeroom area). Bed was very comfortable. Private laundry right outside the door (shared with 1 other unit), own iron in room and hairdryer. Initial coffee/tea/milk supplied - for those self catering - a supermarket is just down the road, with a large shopping center about 5 minutes drive. Walking distance to beach - less than 5 minutes. Beach has a special area cordoned off for swimming in stinger season. The Blue Lagoon has some fab restaurants on location or within 3 minutes walk. Apartment is about 15 mins to airport. We hired a car in Cairns and found the Blue Lagoon Resort a great base to explore the Atherton Tablelands, Cape Tribulation, Port Douglas, Cairns, Kuranda, Innisfail and Harlteys Crocodile Farm. Easy access check in and check out. We are seasoned travellers and Highly Recommend The Blue Lagoon Resort. Thanks Agoda!! We will definitely use your site again! Top marks!
John L. Couples New Zealand, April 01, 2013	Beautiful, breath taking, fun and memorable Staff, Location, Food 10 Our stay was beautiful. The staff were fantastic very attentive and helpful. The local restaurants were of high quality and the staff there were also equally good as the hotel receptionist. The view from our room was Serene and we spent hours in the pool as well as the beach. It is because of the service we received and the help with our day trips that we will be returning to Blue Lagoon on our next visit to Cairns.
