Cairns Coconut Holiday Resort is a great place for kids. This resort has a long list of activities for both little and older kids such as Splash water park, Sun Lagoon pool, Jumping Pillow, snorkeling lessons and mini golf to make sure that your family will never get bored while staying here. There are many types of accommodations offered at the resort to suit all family sizes. There are also restaurants and shops onsite for your convenience. You can spend your entire holiday in the property or go visit many attractions in Cairns which are not far away. The hotel staff are very friendly and willing to help you with anything you need to make sure you get the most impressive experience when the holiday is over.

Good resort for families
Nice facilities and good activities for kids.

Despite getting a bit pricey for a large family after all of the "extra people" fees, it was a relatively good value (as everything in Australia is expensive). The facilities and activities are great for kids and families (pool, jumping pillows, playground, movie night, etc). The cabins are quite nice with relatively spacious and nice facilities for cooking, sleeping and showering. Overall, we recommend...especially for families.
Travel tip:
It is set away from the city a bit, so a car is useful, though they do have a free shuttle to the city center a few times per day.

Excellent entertainment for kids
Fantastic array of activities to keep kids entertained.

Very well-run urban holiday resort. Lots of options for kids to do; some free, some for hire. A shame the weather wasn't better otherwise we would have explored the three pools. A great base to explore Cairns from. Highly recommended for families.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
If you want to go to the Great Barrier Reef, book at least two days before in peak season.

So much for kids to do!
Friendly and helpful staff; lots of entertainment for young children; clean and well maintained rooms

This accomodation was excellent value and we would stay there again. There is so much for young children to do; the staff are extremely helpful; and the unit was very clean and well maintained. The only negative is that one side of the park is close to the highway and could be noisy from the traffic - but this didn't effect us as we were on the other side.
