Good location

This was a convenient hotel within comfortable walking distance of the centre of Cairns (10-15 minutes). Even closer is the large Cairns Central shopping complex - an oasis in hot weather.
Hotel was clean and comfortable but not all lights were working and we had to remove the flat battery from the smoke detector to stop it beeping (it remained unfixed during our stay). Towels on our second day were worn and in need of replacement. Most importantly, reception closes at 6pm (noon on Sunday) and, if arriving after that time,it is necessary to get in advance from the hotel the code to their key safe. This requires a phone call from wherever you are (unfortunately the Agoda booking website is not helpful - we got no reply to our query on this matter)
Shopping Tip:
Forget central Cairns for shopping (other than for souvenirs). The Cairns Central complex is the best place to go - there is also a discount pharmacy across the road.

hotel muy buen ubicado y coqueto
la habitación era muy comoda y tenía todo lo que se podía pedir

Llegamos mas tarde de las 18h y ya no había recepción pero nos habían dejado las llaves en un sobre. El unico inconveniente fue que habia dos camas en lugar de una, pero al día siguiente les escribimos una nota porque no ibamos a coincidir con los horarios de recepción y nos lo modificaron sin problemas.
El personal muy agradable, y el hotel en general, muy bien.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Los horarios de recepción son de 8 a 18h, intentar programar la llegada antes de esa hora, por si hubiera algun problema con la habitación
