Overall its a nice hotel..Rooms are very clean..not super big but of a decent size..Room had a strange odor to it when we arrived..Internet access is available if you have your own internet or you can get room internet for $25 which is a bit expensive..The restaurant is very good ...The food for breakfast was very internationaly friendly and has a a wide range of food available..The seafood buffet for dinner is also very good but priced at $75

Beautiful hotel in the best part of the city.
It is a beautiful hotel in the best part of town. Right near the Cairns Pier which is full of lively bars and restaurants. The casino (part of the Hotel) is located just across the road.

The rooms are nice and clean, with decent views from the balcony. The location in downtown makes it walking distance to the pier for transfers to green island and the barrier reef, and to supplies and shopping and night markets.

Pullman Cairns international is a fashionable hotel with great facilities which are very new and nice. There is only a few minutes walk to the terminals and the docks. Also, the location is close to everything, food, travel agents and recreational facilities. Staying at Pullman was relaxing and comfortable.

i found the hotel staff to be excellent. they were happy to go out of their way when i had left an item behind after my stay. the reception girls were always cheerful and the concierge men were always available to assist.
Restaurant Tip:
Upon check in vouchers are given for breakfast - I was under the impression these were for the value of $25 for the buffett breakfast. they were not. When checking out I was charged $25 x 3 for using the vouchers. I asked what the normal price was - it was $32. then why bother with the voucher - it tricks you into thinking it is free, not just discounted by $7!! For this reason alone, I doubt I will stay there again. I had an extra $75 to pay on my bill for this.
