Friendly atmosphere, nice breakfast.
Air conditioning, distance to main street.
Hotel offered free shuttle service from the airport to the hotel, which was a pleasant surprise upon our arrival in Cairns. Layout and decor of the room was fine, however, the air conditioning was not of a very high standard to the extent that even when the bed was moved as close as possible, we could still barely feel a draught(!) Breakfast was good, though finished at 8:30am.

Quiet, small, very kind staff, suitable swimming pool. Very good.
Small space and separate toilet with room is inconvenient.
You arrive with a little walk, quiet and kind staff is very good.
Nightlife Tip : You never find mosquitoes therefore you can sleep outside.

The hotel provides internet access but a cheaper venue, open until midnight, can be found five minutes walk along Sheridan Street toward town in a video rental store.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Tjapukai aboriginal cultural experience and evening dinner - interesting, moving and delicious.
