A great affordable hotel located just behind Cairn's main Esplanade, the Balinese Hotel is ideal for exploring Cairns and greater Queensland on a budget. The beaches and city center can all be reached on foot and the nearby tour offices are helpful in arranging trips to the Great Barrier Reef and rainforests. With just 18 rooms you are guaranteed peace and quiet in the resort and plenty of space around the freshwater pool. Rooms are large and airy with Balinese inspired decor and a range of perks including free internet access and free daily breakfasts to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

Friendly staff and basic but very claen room
This is a lovely small friendly hotel just outside the town centre. Very good price for what you get. The pool area is very small so do not expect to be swimming lenghs but is good for a quick dip to cool off. There is free internet access although you may have to queue as there is only one terminal!!
