All good the suite was large and airy, food was excellent, pool was great overall i will be back.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Close to all attractions, town and airport everything is able to be booked through the resort.

A great place to stay with a young family.
Large well equipped apartment, good swimming pools, nice and quiet.

i stayed for 2 nights, couple with 2 kids ( aged 6 ).
for the price the apartment was large and the facilities very
good.
the apartment is a fair way out from the centre of cairns,
we had a hire car so it wasn't a problem for us.
there were 3 swimming pools and a games room as well as
restaurant that looked good ( though we didn't ise it ).
it was near the airport but didn't really notice an plane noise.
ideal for us recovering from jet lag.

One of the places to stay in Cairns

we rented a flat for 9 months a few years ago and were most happy to return. our last flat had a much better lay out than the current one, but we told that the better apartments were not part of the hotel itself. other than that, we were very happy with our stay. the only "problem" is the ubiquitous sandflies.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Close to the fabulous Tobrok pool. Close to northern beaches and sightseeing towards the North and Port Douglas

Air conditioners didnt work well, maybe they could do with clean filters. Enjoyed our stay will stay longer next time to enjoy the pools more.

Big and calm resort
calm, very big rooms/apartments, 3 different pool areas, separate lap pool, gym

we stayed at the hotel for three days before starting a camping trip down the east cost. many of the appartments in the resort belong to residents who actually live there. it is very quiet even though there are a lot of cars and people around.
the drawback is the distance to the city center, but there is a bus about 300 meters from the hotel (aud 2.60) or take a cab
Nightlife Tip:
most of the bars close at 12 - they will kick you out even if you drink is still full. if you want to stay longer then 12, try woolshed or pj o'brians

in need of an upgrade, out of date facilities, small old tv's old dvd's and charge to try to use them. furniture in the rooms all very old, the bed was not comfortable either. security poor, anyone can get in. underground parking also big security breach, again anyone can walk in after an authorised vehicle has entered. management and works very helpful and pleasant.
however we enjoyed ourselves, thank you

okay hotel and far out of town

It was a bit out of the way for me- re: city life. The apartment was nice though. The portion sizes in the restaurant would only feed a small child and would put you in debt because the prices were ridiculous. We had to find other venues to eat at because we were starving after our first meal. There is an IGA about 10 minutes away and a subway too.

the resort is quiet and spacious, the location is not very good
on the edge of downtown area, but close to airport 5min. Shuttle bus available but costs you about $4. Purchased wifi internet but can not get connected in the rooms, but stuff kindly offered refund. Recommended for long term family stay. Worthy of the price

once again, very happy with the lakes resort, we only live around the corner but is such a great place to escape to without the travel for us. the service is always good and rooms very clean and tidy with a nice classy finish of all fernishings and fixtures, ie Granit bench tops

great location but a bit too small....
great location near subway, near bars, easy to get around.

The hotel itself is very quiet and comfortable. However, the internet connection is very bad in my room. It was hard for me to get my business done. I had to go down stairs of the cafe next door.
The location is great. It is very nice walk from the hotel to the Darling harbor. On the way there is the musuem and Aquarium.
