-convenient location - the pool could have been cleaner as there were leaves inside We had a fabulous stay at Sebel Hotel. The location was very convenient as it was walking distance to the harbor and to town. The staff at the hotel were very informative, friendly and helpful. The hotel has a great spa and restaurant. I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone I know.

Well sited for easy access to central Cairns city and boardwalks along sea front Needed extra staff at time of booking in...too slow Access to the hotel was good. Hotel condition ie building and rooms not to be faulted. Just need to be aware that anything that can be regarded as an extra will be billed to you. ie The carparking at $20 per night and internet at Au55c per minute. Most expensive in my 4.5 months of travel.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Great Barrier Reef and Cairns Botanical Gardens well worth doing

very good position would stay again old fashioned tv . expensive buffet &continental breakfast.you pay etra to have eggs cooked as you wan with buffet.pay for inroom safe. mmy stay in this hotel was good you can easily walk allround cairns cbd.good oceanviews.the staff were very hepful both at reception and the concierge.the pool has alovely surround with plenty of chairs.as mentioned above in cons i do not think that the level of this hotel is five star but would return to it.

clean room, beautiful and clean outside swimming pool and location. balcony was little bit uncleaned.
we stayed there for two nights and glad we choose there. hotel is so close to the beach and esplanade and central cairns. the service was really good and staff were professional. outside swimming pool- water was big cold but Jacuzzi was pretty warm and comfortable. really really good value for that amount of money. we will stay there again!

5* hotel with gym, sauna and outdoor pool + jacuzzi, in the center of cairns, near marina Wright in the Cairns city center, just 2 blocks of the marina, we stayed in this wonderful 5*hotel for a cheap night-rate! Enjoyed the outdoor swimming pool + jacuzzi, the sauna, great room and staff!
Next time in Cairns, we'll definitely stay at the Sebel
Hotel Feature Tip : Parking in the indoor parking costs aprox a 20AUD a night, but just 400 meters from you can park your car for 3AUD a night. Saved us a lot of money!
