Adequate with above average food and room space

Has standard free cable / pay tv, hotel room amenities (linen, toiletries, hair-dryer, iron, tea-making facilities etc) with some nice extras eg bathrobes, free (and quick) wi-fi, room safe... Grounds included good sized outdoor pool, token gym, and own restaurant serving breakfast and dinner. We had dinner and room service breakfast - dinner was a pasta and steak - both we're surprisingly good; breakfast arrived on-time and again tasted quite good and came in generous portions. However in-service only arrived to clean our room after being reminded, two days after we checked in.

Alright for a cheap stay

This was an acceptable stay with friendly staff, but really more of a 3 star hotel. Definitely not a 4 star. Location is also not great - really have to have a car to drive to anywhere else in Canberra. Cleanliness was good, but some of the towels/washer in bathroom had yellow spot stains.

Very Nice Hotal and Great Location
Best features were the room itself, clean, comfortable, and excellent shower facilities.

I thought the continental breakfast was well thought through with very good choices.
I did not know the hot breakfast also included the continental breakfast as well. I would have opted for both for the hot breakfast price.

I can only suggest that you give this hotel a complete miss.The Hotel itself is clean but the rooms are small and stiffeled. The room is showing its age. There was no service to speak off. The lady who was on at the time did her very best, but she had no back up support. She was on recepition, bar and everything else. I felt sorry for her. The resturant was closed over the New Year holidays! Can you imagine that.
This is a budget hotel pretending to be 4 stars!

We were visiting a sick relative in Canberra hospital and it was close by,we also noticed on the counter that there was a exhibition of Toulouse-Lautrec at the national gallery and the staff were very helpful in giving directions .

Comfortable room but remote location

We stay in this hotel around Christmas time. Room was quite even for three adults. It is located quite far from the city centre but ok if you are driving. Staff was very helpful and offering some free fruit. It is quite comfortable for traveling familys.
