A bit noizy next to the parking lot

I feel that the condition is a bit old, the parking lot outside the window make me feel ...noizy, with acceptable breakfast.15 minutes walk to the bus station, a bit boring when walking in the dark with no shops around.

Ok for the price.
Location to city centre, food was good, room clean.

There in the process of renovating which i did not no, had scafolding out my window with workers on it during the week, there was a tube tv pretty ordinary. Ok for the price but i would pay more money to get something better.

I was surprised by the quality of this three star hotel, conveniently located near to the centre of Canberra. Major renovation has see well appointed rooms with parking and access easy, and a good buffet breakfast. Being located on the main thoroughfare into the city, I thought that traffic noise may have been a detracting factor. Not the case. All in all a great place to stay at the right price.

Summernats was on, so parking was not available (+ renovation was going on) Had to park on street. Otherwise good value at last minute (considering backpacker hostels in Canberra charge around $80 for 8 bed share dorm at last minute) and breakfast is included which is good

Friendly staff but poor hotel

I wish I'd known there was a construction site next door. I emailed the place to advise my arrangements had changed and I would arrive late - the next morning after my original check in date. They told me they had no half day rate, which I found strange. I feel ripped off, since I arrived to find a construction site outside my window and I could not rest and study as I had planned. If I had known, I would have stayed at another hotel or at least checked in at normal time and taken the refund for my forfeited first night stay. After a late night I woke around 6:30am due to the construction next door. I really needed that extra hour of sleep since I had a big day of work ahead of me. The other issue is my fault for not checking on Agoda: but they have no gym or pool. I was surprised given the cost of my room per night. Breakfast was ok, but one morning they asked us to share big tables with other guests. After flying in and sitting down to breakfast, I really just wanted some space to myself to eat and check emails. Overall the hotel is way too run down for the price. I would not stay again. The staff were really friendly though.
