A very convenient place to stay

Loved the boutique style hotel. I wish we had had more time to sample the restaurant, the menu looked great. The hotel had excellent friendly staff and the rooms were very comfortable and very nicely renovated, we would definitely choose to stay there again while in Canberra.

i am glad that i decided to stay at the diamant. it was very close to the city centre which was great as i was in canberra for business, however it was still in a relatively quiet area. the room was great and i really loved the decor. the bed was really comfy but i mostly loved the shower, could have possibly stay there for the whole stay. the in-room wi-fi was also very convenient. the funky little library bar was a bonus especially to quietly unwind from the day and the restaurant was excellent, i had both a great dinner and breakfast here. finally the staff was friendly and engaging, even though i was there for work is still felt like a mini holiday

The room was cold, the inefficient heating loud, the decor eye straining, and the shower went cold (once- but this is not trivial in Canberra in winter). We will not return.

A unique hotel with great character
the comfy rooms, the sunny garden courtyards, the restaurant, the bar with books to read and the beautiful artworks

we loved staying at the diamant. it is close to the city centre but it has an atmosphere of comfort, quiet and calm. the restaurant "bicicletta" is a big plus as is the bar with its library of interesting books. the large attractive courtyard opening off the restaurant is a lovely place to relax.
Travel tip:
Make sure you look at all the different artworks - they're just beautiful!

We will never stay at your motel chain again, I have traveled all over the world and can gaurantee that your staff are the rudest people I have ever encountered, they obviously have nill training in hospitality. I feel you owe us some sort of refund. Note that we also met other guests that had the same opinion as me.
Travel tip:
Find another motel to stay at as this one is a disaster.
