Great hotel with a fantastic breakfast.
Large rooms, great shower, very comfortable bed and fantastic breakfast.

My wife and I were very pleased with our stay. The staff were friendly and inviting which makes your holiday even better.
As I mentioned earlier, the rooms were a good size and the breakfast was fantastic, thank you so much.

It was unfortunate for me as I had gone to this hotel to rest after a day in hospital so therefore on the second day I was disturbed for most of the day as they were renovating bathrooms especially the one above my room!! A lot of hammering and pounding and drilling. Impossible to sleep or hear the T.V. The staff in reception apologised after I mentioned the noise and said they are sometimes finished by 3:30pm and anyway guests usually go out for the day. Room service is a little disappointing, everything is served in take-away containers with plastic knives and forks (unless they forget the cutlery)and sometimes the containers are a little small for rice and casseroled meat and veg so one has to dig down to reach the rice, this is all the same price as restaurant served meals, but there is no other choice between breakfast and the evening dinner. If one uses the restaurant, quite a long wait to be seated, while staff are clearing tables serving drinks at the bar, using the til or waiting the tables, I think they cut considerably on staff. The rooms were comfortable and the restaurant food was excellent. Unfortunately I would not use this hotel again, unless you have a car it is too far from anywhere.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Just not convenient unless you have transport

I was happy with my stay here, the room was a good size and the bathroom was new and roomy. They have Foxtel on a large screen TV in the room, and a fridge to store food. The breakfast each morning is good, plenty of variety. It's near to Manuka village where there are lots of eateries.

Great location, big rooms, right next to manuka
Continental breakfast, close car parking, large rooms
8.7
The best place I've stayed so far in Canberra and very close to Manuka Village where you can find many eateries to chose from, the hotel itself has a bar, restaurant, pool, free wifi/lan internet and continental complimentary breakfast on the house, the best price I've seen for a while.
Restaurant Tip:
Manuka Village, My Cafe, best steaks

Handy location and good pricing
Handy location, budget range pricing, restaurant and Bar, clean rooms, comfortable

Needs a shower suitable for someone over 6 ft - almost impossible to wash your hair
Food menu in restaurant could be improved
Personnel need sprucing up a little.

Nice hotel
Parking in front of your room, close to the Embassy (O'Malley) and nice breakfast!

Considering that accommodation in Canberra is very expensive, this hotel was a great value for money. We were surprised about the breakfast, nice and until 10:30am!
It's an older style motor inn but the bathroom was renovated.
Need to improve: overall cleanliness.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
You need a car in Canberra! Don't rely on public transport.
