It was a relaxing business time for me!

The stay was very pleasant and convenient. The room was clean and large with a comfortable bed and enough desk space to get my work done. I took advantage of the bars happy hour with its great service, and the local restaurants located within a stones throw. Can recommend this hotel if your needs are central Canberra.

We have a comfortable stay. It is located close to the main shopping centre and restaurants and the main Canberra attractions. It is very close to the main tourist bus centre and bus stops.

The hotel was clean, friendly and was conveniently located to the centre on Canberra. The rooms were adequately sized, and represented good value for money (for Australia) including free wi-fi which was a bonus.

Midrange Canberra Hotel - Comfortable and clean

The Novotel is very much a corporate hotel, and not especially family friendly. The majority of its guests are from companies and government, and that shows. On the other hand, it is clean, well appointed and well maintained. The staff are not unhelpful, but they don't go out of their way to assist either.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Canberra has fantastic attractions, but make sure you do the guided tours. The benefit you will get from the excellent local guides is immense.
