Situated on a wooded hill with breathtaking views of Canberra, a leader in modernity, the Rydges Capital hill is a luxurious choice. After strolling around Parliament House, networking in the business district, or chumming it up at a nearby popular Kingston area, head over to the Capital Hill hotel pool and sauna. The infinity pool is heated and indoors. The number of work-out, spa, and pampering opportunities are immense. Start your day with yoga classes and a trip to the spa, then jet down to the Fig Tree café for a hot buffet breakfast in a rich and relaxed setting. After your breakfast, put your slippers on and stroll down to Manuka for shopping and excitement. And at the end of the day, you can head over to InBargo for cocktails outdoors during the summer months!

It is a very nice hotel and the staff are friendly
location, restaurant, location
5.7
The stay was fine and the staff went out of their way to be helpful. However, one gets the sense that the staff training and management are poor. For example, the restaurant has plenty of staff but yet service is very, very slow. You could die of thirst waiting for a drink or of hunger waiting for a meal. The order arrives in dribs and drabs. Some plates are cleared and others are not. There are stacks of chairs in the lobby area, making it look like a store room. It is a nice property and it has staff who are trying their best. However, some training would go a long way....

Nice hotel, quiet and good location
7
Room was basically good, but showing it's age as there were not enough power points for laptops, etc at the desk provided. Shower curtain seems inappropriate for this type of hotel. You pay extra for parking and some of the parking bays are very tight. Food was ok but menu could be bigger. Noise from the air conditioning from adjourning room was annoying. Still, all in all it did the main things well- it was quiet (despite the din fromnext doors A/C) and comfortable and I slept well.
