Nice hotel, quiet and good location

Room was basically good, but showing it's age as there were not enough power points for laptops, etc at the desk provided. Shower curtain seems inappropriate for this type of hotel. You pay extra for parking and some of the parking bays are very tight. Food was ok but menu could be bigger. Noise from the air conditioning from adjourning room was annoying. Still, all in all it did the main things well- it was quiet (despite the din fromnext doors A/C) and comfortable and I slept well.

I had a problem with the wifi in my room not working. It was something that could have been avoided but was mainly an instructional oversight of the hotel's Internet service provider. Staff went above and beyond what I would normally receive as assistance from any other hotel. I was incredibly impressed and thankful.
Also room service was really fast!

Not great vego options for breakfast at a reasonable price

Great location, great staff

Staff are very friendly, hotel is within walking distance to Manuka which has great restaurants and shops.
Room is a little tired (had few marks on the walls) but was perfect for a short stay.

Tired but comfortable - don't use the phone

I usually try to avoid making calls on hotel phones but in this case I had to call overseas. One 17-minute international call was charged at A$165. Staff were not able to tell me the call rate usually applied for overseas calls. The amount was reduced after I disputed the charge but was still fairly outrageous. Room was on the same floor as function rooms so Saturday night was very noisy. Overall, the hotel is looking a bit tired but the room was very comfortable. Parking is a bonus but could not find a space due to Saturday night function!

Excellent hotel when visiting Parliament House
Good staff, spacious rooms at reasonable price

On Canberra on business and this proved an excellent hotel to stay. Close to some very nice restaurents with a wide range of cuisines. Also walking distance to Parliament House and many other attractions.
Restaurant Tip:
Some great restaurents close to hand - ask at desk for directions to restaurent strip.
